Deposit of $500 is due by January 31, 2026. Price will increase on February 1st to full cost. Sign up with a new friend or a family member & price is $5800 per person at enrollment. (Friend can not be a traveler of Highlight Vacations from the past)
Come explore the Emerald Isle and its green landscapes, history, castles and rich culture. We will check out the beautiful Cliffs of Moher and spend a day at Bunratty Folk Park to see how the Irish people lives in the 19th Century. We will be learning about falconry and the amazing birds. Then we will go back to our hotel in Adare, the Fitzgerald Woodlands House hotel and Spa to enjoy the pool and grounds. There is so much more packed into this week long trip. We will closing the enrollment at 25 travelers for the benefit of all. Remember, this is an Activity Level III trip, On your feet travelers – only sign up if you can be only your feet for 3 to 4 hours. Trip includes:
- Flight from JFK to Shannon Airport, Ireland.
- Leisurely guided walking tour of Adare, (famous for its attractive Main Street of thatched houses & floral gardens)
- Ireland’s Cliff of Moher
- Doolin Village (Known as the traditional music capital of Ireland)
- Bunratty Folk Park (Collection of farmhouses, pubs, school, general store, & many other building from the 19th century where traditional lifestyles & crafts are demonstrated)
- Fun & feasting at Bunratty or Knappogue Castle (enjoy a medieval-style banquet served in the Great Hall of the 15th century castle)
- Visit the rustic Caherconnell farm, experience farm life & see shaggy sheepdogs working in their natural environment.
- Visit to 13th Century King John’s Castle
- Travel to the National Birds of Prey Centre & experience a hawk walk with a professional falconer and learn about the beautiful birds.
- Journey to Aillwee Farm shop for the opportunity to watch cheese-making process up close and to taste various types of Burren Gold Cheese.
- 6 night accommodation at Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel and Spa, Adare Ireland (indoor pool, hot tub/spa, fitness center, free wi-fi, lounge/bar, etc)
